For over 60 years, Lorch Schweißtechnik GmbH has been developing and manufacturing high-quality welding solutions for industry and trade in one of the world's most advanced welding system production facilities. As a B2B agency, we had the privilege of supporting this big player in welding systems by carrying out a relaunch of Lorch’s international corporate website.
Website Relaunch: Brand principles and sales support as a mission.
The new website aims to showcase the brand principles and the solution and product portfolio for all relevant target group segments. In this way, the sales team should be supported in their decision-making and sales activities with segment-specific information – both for end consumers and for dealers.
The client's request to us was also to create a website with a support-oriented character. The new site is intended to help qualify contacts as leads through targeted interactions at the right time.
Another key requirement was the development of a unified product structure: thus, a Product Information Management (PIM) project became part of the website relaunch.

In addition to developing a new corporate design, a digital design system was created during the relaunch to ensure a consistent brand representation across the Lorch platforms. This focus secured a unique user experience and a cohesive visual language.
Lorch and wob set new standards with Pimcore.
The entire website was implemented using the Enterprise Open Source platform Pimcore, which allows for particularly simple and intuitive management of page content and product data seamlessly within a single system.
A key component and magic word here is: PIM (Product Information Management). The introduction of this PIM system enabled the entire product range to be uniformly structured. In plain terms: the centralisation of all marketing, sales, and technical product information for Lorch products has been made possible across countries within a single system.
Relaunch of the dealer portal: a red carpet for welders and those who aspire to be.
Together with our client, we created a website that provided dealers with essential information at a glance – quickly and clearly. In other words, we developed an exclusive dealer portal featuring modern single sign-on authentication, along with complex roles and permissions functionalities, centralising all necessary information and services.
Contacts become leads: Marketing software Evalanche takes the spotlight.
Thanks to the seamless integration of the flexible marketing automation system Evalanche into the website, website visitors can now be converted into qualified leads in compliance with GDPR, allowing inquiries to be handled effectively and purposefully.
