New member of the Supervisory Board at wob. Larissa Pohl takes over Supervisory Board mandate.

We are delighted to announce that Larissa Pohl will be joining the Supervisory Board of wob AG. She is one of the most respected leaders in the German agency industry, the current President of the German Association of Communications Agencies (GWA) and this year's HORIZONT "Agency Person of the Year".

She has worked at WPP since 2018, initially as CSO and CEO of the Wunderman Thompson agency in Germany and since the beginning of 2022 as WPP Open X Europe Lead for the client The Coca-Cola Company.

With this appointment, Pohl is returning to her professional roots, having started her career at wob and developed into a decisive force in the industry through positions at renowned agencies such as Ogilvy and Jung von Matt. Her Supervisory Board mandate provides a strong sparring partner for the Executive Board thanks to her in-depth expertise.

Her visionary way of thinking and her many years of expertise will support wob's growth strategy.

Larissa Pohl comments on her new position: "wob is a very special agency whose development I have always followed after my active time. It has constantly reinvented itself and developed further, while still retaining its culture. I'm really looking forward to working with them."

Frank Merkel, company founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of wob AG, emphasises: "In Larissa, we are gaining a high-calibre expert who has played a key role in shaping the agency industry in Germany. Our shared past and mutual appreciation form the foundation for a future-oriented collaboration."
